CINDY INGRAHAM KEEFER

As a young artist, Cindy was intrinsically motivated to draw the world around her, excelling as a painter of realism and ceramic artist. She received a Bachelor of Science in Art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a graduate degree in Art Education from Montana State University, Bozeman.  Her studies in painting and ceramics widened to include bronze casting at the Art Students League of New York, and copper etching at Josephine Press, Santa Monica.  She moved on to sharing her talents teaching art and photography at Nelson Colleges in New Zealand.

While living in a culture that captures beauty and emotion-evoking moments with fleeting reverence, Cindy’s works immortalize the link between the natural world and abstraction which lies in the energy that moves light and color fields organically.  This immersive approach into our subconscious tendency toward beauty allows Cindy to convoke these images in bronze, ceramic, and oils.
